Ingrediënten:

  • 2 granaatappels
  • 2 eiwitten
  • 150 g slagroom
  • 150 g suiker

Bereidingswijze

Meringues:
Verwarm de oven voor op 170 graden. Klop de eiwitten stijf in een kom met debasterdsuiker en 3 el kristalsuiker en 1 tl vanillesuiker, schep dan de azijnerdoor. Schep het goedje op een met bakpapier bedekte bakplaat. Schuif in deoven. Draai de temperatuur van de oven terug tot 140 graden. Na 1 uur de ovenuitzetten. Laat de meringue in de oven staan om daar rustig af te koelen.

Grenadine:
Pers het sap van 1,5 granaatappel. Doe dit met de 150 g kristalsuiker in eenpan. Roeren tot de suiker is opgelost en het goedje wat is ingedikt.

Slagroom:
Klop de slagroom stijf met 1 tl vanillesuiker en 1 el kristalsuiker.

Eton mess:
Breek de meringue in grove stukken en serveer met de slagroom, grenadine en deovergebleven granaatappelpitjes.
