- 2 flinke struikjes witlof
- 40 g blauwschimmelkaas, zoals Gorgonzola
- 3 eetlepels balsamicoazijn
- 2 eetlepels appelstroop
- 2 takjes tijm
- zout
- versgemalen peper
Bereidingswijze
Was de witlof en halveer de struikjes in de lengte. Leg de witlof in eenschaal. Verwarm de appelstroop in een steelpan en roer de azijn erdoor. Breng opsmaak met zout en peper. Giet deze marinade over de witlof en laat deze minimaal1 uur, afgedekt, intrekken. Keer de struikjes tussentijds tweemaal om. Verpakvervolgens tweemaal twee witlofhelften met een eetlepel marinade in een velbakpapier en vouw de vellen dicht. Leg de pakketjes in een stoommandje of in eenhittebestendige vergiet. Breng een grote pan met ruim water aan de kook en stoomde witlof in het mandje of in het vergiet boven het kokende water in circa 10minuten gaar. Snij de kaas in kleine stukjes. Vouw de pakketjes open en verdeelde kaas erover. Garneer met een takje tijm.
