Ingrediënten:
- 250 gram aardbeien
- 2 takjes basilicum
- 2 eetlepels boter of margarine
- 2 eetlepels suiker
- 1/2 dl vruchtensap (bijv. aardbeien- of sinaasappelsap)
- 1 eetlepel balsamico azijn
- 50 gram blauwe bessen of bosbessen
- 2 bolletjes vanille- ijs of half stijf geslagen slagroom
Bereidingswijze
Maak het zachtfruit schoon. Verwijder de kroontjes van de aardbeien. Hou detopjes van de takjes basilicum achter voor garnering. Scheur de rest van deblaadjes in reepjes. Verhit de boter in een koekenpan of wok. Bak de aardbeienkort onder voortdurend voorzichtig omscheppen. Schep de suiker erdoor. Giet af met het vruchtensap en de azijn. Laat het vocht kort inkoken tot een lichtstroperige saus. Neem de pan van het vuur. Schep de bessen er door. Doe hetfruit met de saus in mooie diepe borden. Schep er een bolletje ijs of de halfstijf geslagen room op. Bestrooi met de basilicumreepjes. Garneer met de topjesbasilicum.
Dit gerecht bevat circa 150 gram fruit per persoon (zondervruchtensap).
Roerbak voor een verrassende extra bite rode peperbesjes mee.
