OstroVit Chlorella – eencellige microalgen Chlorella is een organisme dat is geclassificeerd als eencellige zoetwateralgen. We hebben het allemaal te danken aan de rijkdom aan mineralen, vitamines, fytochemicaliën en macronutriënten, omdat het ook een bron van eiwitten kan zijn. Chlorella kan een veganistische bron zijn van ijzer, dat meestal wordt aangetroffen in vlees, en vitamine B12, dat moet worden aangevuld door mensen met een veganistisch dieet. Er is gedocumenteerd dat mensen die microalgen consumeerden een hoger vitamine B12-gehalte hadden dan veganisten die deze in hun dieet opgaven.
