Ingrediënten:
- 150 g waspeen
- 1 bosuitje
- 2 sneetjes oud brood
- ca. 60 g geraspte belegen kaas
- 1 eetlepel fijngeknipte peterselie
- 1 klein ei
- 1 – 2 eetlepels bloem
- zout
- cayennepeper
- ca. 4 eetlepels paneermeel
- frituurolie
Bereidingswijze
Dieet: Vegetarisch dieet
Maak de worteltjes schoon en rasp ze fijn. Snij het bosuitje fijn. Snij dekorstjes van het brood en verkruimel het fijn. Meng in een kom de wortelrasp,bosui, broodkruim, kaas en peterselie. Voeg ei, bloem, zout en cayennepeper toe.Meng alles goed door elkaar tot een stevig, samenhangend mengsel, kneed hetliefst even door met de handen. Vorm kleine balletjes van het mengsel en wentelze door paneermeel.
Verhit de frituurolie tot 170 C en bak de wortelballetjes in gedeelten gaaren goudbruin, in 3 – 4 minuten. Laat ze even uitlekken op keukenpapier.
Per persoon ongeveer 75 gram groenten
Lekker als vegetarisch diner met gegrild Turks brood, een yoghurtdip en een frisse salade.
